Position: Architectural Drafter

MVMK LLC is looking for an Architectural Drafter to provide services at its workplace located at 360 14th Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030.

Duties to be performed: Prepare architectural designs, plans, renderings, 3D models, and virtual animations for projects ranging from large high-profile residential and mixed-use projects to highly detailed interior commercial renovations. Utilize advanced software/hardware knowledge and computational design to assist the firm in developing cutting-edge architectural innovations. Operate architectural drafting tools/technologies including virtual reality visualization, scripting (for Rhino+Grasshopper software), and Computer Aided Design (AutoCAD) drafting. Perform conceptual design, computer parametric design with advanced 3D modeling, computer 3D software mapping, texturing, and lighting techniques to create visual elements and high-quality and cutting-edge 3D renderings. Complete post production, virtual animations, and troubleshooting for computer software/hardware issues to ensure all projects meet high artwork and design standards. Ensure that projects are completed on-time and within the allocated budget. Present proposals to the firm’s principals and clients.

Requirements: 24 months of experience as architectural drafter. The 24 months of required drafting experience must involve residential, mixed-use, and commercial projects, as well as the use of the following architectural drafting tools/technologies: Revit architecture software; Rhino+Grasshopper 3D modeling software; AutoCAD; Trimble SketchUp; and Adobe Creative Cloud.

Hours and salary: 40 hours per week, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday, $99,840.00 per year

Position: Project Architect

Project Architect with Construction Drawing Experience

Experience level: 5 years plus

MVMK Architecture are looking for talented and self-motivated architects to fill a position(s) at their Hoboken office. Applicants should ideally have at least 5 years experience working in an architectural office with special emphasis on preparing construction documents for medium to large scale multi family residential buildings. Candidates will have the opportunity to design and manage their own projects under the guidance and supervision of senior architects.

Salary Level: varies based on experience level

Position: Junior Architect

MVMK Architecture are seeking a junior architect to fill a full time position at its Hoboken office. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential. Experience working in Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, Rhino and Lumion is a plus. The job will involve the design and documentation of multifamily and mixed-use buildings in both the private and public sector.
