Dongni Lu AIA

Dongni joined MVMK in 2016 and has been instrumental in the design and delivery of a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, and mixed-use architectural projects. With extensive experience spanning all phases of practice, from schematic design through construction administration, she has developed particular expertise in multifamily podium buildings, high-rise residential towers, and complex mixed-use developments.

As an Associate, Dongni provides project leadership and design coordination, collaborating closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to guide projects from concept through completion. She possesses a strong understanding of zoning regulations, building codes, and municipal approval processes, with extensive experience navigating project reviews, approvals, and stakeholder coordination. Her detail-oriented approach, technical expertise, and strong organizational skills contribute significantly to the successful execution of MVMK's work.

Dongni earned her Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and her Bachelor of Architecture from Tianjin University in China. She is a licensed architect in New York and New Jersey and holds the LEED AP BD+C credential.
