Catalina Valdes

Project Architect

 

Catalina received her Bachelor of Architecture degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2020 and Associate in Fine Arts degree from County College of Morris in 2015. She completed a design studio in Arkitektskolen Aarhus focused on computational building design. During school she loved learning new softwares, parametric design, and building models. She is seeking licensure in New York. 

 

 

Prior to joining MVMK, she worked in different small and mid-size firms in NYC and NJ. She gained experience from projects ranging from high-end studio renovations to child care facilities throughout the country. She loves working on details and dedicates her time to keep learning different architectural typologies. Aside from architecture she loves traveling, spending time with her family and enjoys dancing salsa.
