613 Grove Street, Jersey City

A key design requirement of this new mixed use project is the retention of the street facades and bell tower of the existing St Lucy's Church. While the church and adjacent parochial house are not protected structures they were beautifully designed and do act a visual landmarks on the streetscape. By retaining their facades and constructing a modern high rise behind we sought to keep the human scale and intimacy at street level. The proposed new 23 story building contains 444 residences with abundant private and common outdoor terraces and indoor amenity spaces. There is over 6,000 sqft of prime retail space at grade and 346 parking space provided.
